As you know by now, we are really taking The CV Clinic to new heights with lots of marketing and PR. We are exhibiting at EREC 2006 on Wednesday and Thursday this week at ExCel in Docklands and you can find us on stand E14 so do come along and say hello.

Our main objective at The CV Clinic is to ensure that your CV or personal shop window as I like to call it makes the right impression for you " CV's with Impact" really does do what is says on the tin!!

I know now having been a headhunter for many years just how quickly I scan CV's and which ones hold my attention and which ones don't so with that insight I really do add my two penneth to the CV writing team at The CV Clinic.

One of the most important rules of having a great CV is you must know how to use it to it's full potential and yes, that does mean using it during the interview, I can never understand candidates who don't bring copies of their CV to the interview and leave it to chance that the CV has been printed in the correct format or that one of the 3 pages hasn't gone missing!

One of my jobs at The CV Clinic is to help candidates perform job winning interviews and I do that via several coaching packages and yes, if you want we can even video a live interview role play. During that session I coach candidates to use the CV as a live working document and to use it in the same way you would use any other presentation material when giving that all important presentation.

Although the book is American it really does help you prepare yourself for interview. I always suggest to candidates to use in preparation for the real interview. Nick Crocodilos has definately got the background to write this book and can really get inside the head of the interviewee (****)
T. Harv Eker: Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth
Very good read for all you out there preparing to make millions. Think Rich To Get Rich (****)
Robin Sharma: Leadership Wisdom from the Monk Who Sold His Ferrari
Robin Sharma has hit the nail on the head here as he describes one of my favorite values in life " manage by mind, lead by heart". It is a great book but don't expect to read it in one sitting as it encourages you to practice each step as you read it. (*****)
